A new website can cost a few hundred dollars or tens of thousands. The price depends mostly on who builds it and how much of the work they take off your hands. Here is an honest comparison of the four usual choices, so you can pick the right one, even if it isn't us.

Market figures are typical ranges from public sources (listed at the end), checked October 2026. Prices change; always ask what is included.

Is $1,500 a good price for a website?

It can be, for a small site with a clear brief. Ask what it includes: how many pages, who writes the words, whether it works well on phones, whether Google and AI search are set up, who owns the site, and what happens after launch. A low price that leaves you with no copy, no search setup and no one to call can cost more later.

What changes the price

  • The number of pages, and landing pages for ads
  • Videos and photos
  • Animation and interactive parts
  • Booking, a shop or member areas
  • Connections to your CRM, email or payments
  • Google and AI search setup
  • Extra languages or markets

What it costs each month

Expect to pay for hosting, a domain, updates and small edits. Hosting alone ranges from a few dollars to hundreds a month, depending on the site. Builder plans include hosting, but not your time.

Where we sit

A new website or rebuild with us starts from $799. Care plans are $79, $179 or $549 a month and cover hosting, updates, edits and checks; Growth Care also adds one fix every month aimed at getting more enquiries.
